1968 - 1970 Apprenticeship as a publisher • 1970 - 1972 Assistantship graphic design, Munich, Germany • 1976 Started working as a self taught artist • 1977 Founder member of Galerie am Moritzplatz, Berlin, Germany with Rainer Fetting, Salomé et. al. • 1973 - 1979 Studied philosophy and religious studies at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany • 1979 Karl-Schmidt-Rottluff-Scholarship • 1982 - 1983 Villa Massimo Scholarship, Rome, Italy • 1984 Moved to Polling/Upper Bavaria, Germany • 1985 First woodcut works • 1993 - 1994 Journey to Libya, creation of large-sized desert paintings • 1995 Journey to Polynesia and the Marquesas Islands, creation of the South Sea paintings • 1996 - 1997 First terracotta sculptures • 1996 - 1997 Journey to Arizona, USA, started work on TAL-paintings • 1998 Started work on space paintings
